About Us
Beere Electrical services is based in Lightwater Surrey, close to J3 of the M3.
We have been established for 10 years and are an NICEIC approved contractor.
Having built the company up to a staff of 15 catering for every conceivable electrical related market, the rewards of running the business were fast outweighed by a lack of home life and it was decided in June 2008 to reduce the scope of works and concentrate on a more specific client base.
To this end it was decided to concentrate on the commercial and demolition / redevelopment sides of the business as Rob was looking after these sectors personally at the time.
2012 finds us rebranded with our vehicles now a low-key silver as opposed to the original bright yellow,
Our team is smaller, dedicated and extremely well trained having the ability to work at heights above ground, in confined spaces below ground and any where in between safely.
The company is run from our Lightwater Office which is manned by Sue.
The onsite teams are led by Rob Beere and Mike Hornbuckle with Ryan, Richard and Will in support.
We have resources to double the size of the fixed team for large cable and installation projects which makes us a viable alternative to larger, more anonymous companies.
The team consists of:
Sue Plumley
Company Secretary and Finance Director.
Sue formed the company with Rob Beere in 2001 and looks after the teams vehicles, training, clothing, welfare and administration needs.
She is also the one who hunts down the outstanding invoices.
Rob Beere
Managing Director / Senior Team Leader.
Allowed to make company policy decisions occasionally subject to Sue’s whims.
Having worked in and around the electrical industry for 20 years, Rob decided that running his own company would give him more free time than an 8-5.
He now works from 6 in the morning till 10 at night and is allowed 4 hours off at the weekend.
Mike Hornbuckle
Team leader.
Mike joined the company in 2006 and has progressed through an apprenticeship to being a team leader
S.M.S.T.S. qualified and an excellent right hand man.
Ryan "Woody" Keyland
Woody joined the company three years ago and is progressing through his 4th year apprenticeship training.
Hard worker and always on time.
Richard Ive
Richard joined us in the early part of 2011 and has had to suffer a whirlwind round of training courses to bring him up to full site abilities.
He is continuing his apprenticeship training which is now in its 4th year
Very enthusiastic and reliable
Will Jackson
Will joined us as a mate in 2010 and has seized the opportunity of an apprenticeship to further himself and his pay packet.
Very strong and very keen.
